Jinny Henson
is a native Houstonian, a
graduate of Baylor University and Southwestern Seminary where she met her husband, John, Senior Pastor at Church for the Highlands
in Shreveport, LA. Together they live in Shreveport, LA with their 12 year old son, Jack. The
Hensons are walking through tremendous grief in recent days as their precious 12 year old daughter Maggie Lee, passed away
last August from injuries sustained in a tragic church bus accident while on her way to youth camp.
Jinny's daughter Maggie Lee was a vibarant, creative
and generous child. A group called Maggie Lee for Good was formed and on
Maggie Lee’s birthday, October 29th, over 15,000
people from all over the world committed to do an act of kindness in her honor. The Maggie Lee For Good slogan is One deed,

She has traveled the
country performing stand up comedy for such venues as The University of Montana
Billings, Wise Guys Comedy Café in Seattle, ACME Couples’ Marriage Enrichment in Orlando, Florida and Cornerstone
Church in Anaheim, CA. Jinny is a published author whose devotional appears in The One Year Bible Devotional Book on August 19th and she has a published a chapter in the women’s devotional book,
The Groovy Chicks Road Trip
to Love.
Jinny has taught Communications at Dallas
Baptist University. The theme verse for her life is John 10:10, "The enemy has come to steal, kill and destroy but I have come to bring you life to the full.”
